Jersey Shore’s Ronnie “Ron Ron” Ortiz-Magro Talks about his Battle with Depression

Popular Jersey Shore star, Ronnie has been in the news a lot lately and not for anything good. Known originally for his outrageous dance movies and his on and off again relationship with co-star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola. His current relationship with his on and off again baby momma Jen Harley has been so explosive that police got involved. Their contentious relationship has also spilled over into the social media with each one of them accusing the other of awful behavior. Now, Ronnie has come clean about suffering from depression and the reason why he decided to head to rehab.

Fans watched as the couple imploded during season 2 in a very dramatic fashion. During an episode last September, there was a huge fight between Ronnie and Jen over the loss of her dog. Jen claimed that MTV edited most of what lead up to the fight and focused on the dramatic ending that saw police getting involved. The major fight had to do with Jen’s missing dog Kimber. Jen was desperately looking for her dog and Ron would not answer any of her calls. She later found out that Ron found her dog dead at the bottom of the pool at her house. She claims that she had heard multiple stories about what happened to her beloved dog and felt like she was being lied to about the situation. She confronted Ron and the situation blew up. The police were called and the two hurled accusations at each other. Now Ron is revealing that after everything that happened during Season 2, he decided to head to rehab.

Ron is now revealing that season 2 left him feeling angry and resentful. He was very depressed and drinking constantly. He went to rehab in January at the HeadWaters Origins Treatment Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. He decided to go also because he wants to be a better father to his daughter with Jen, Ariana Sky. When interviewed about his decision he said, “I was just making the wrong decisions, and I was very depressed,” Ronnie explained. “And when I was depressed, I would turn to drinking. And then when I would drink, bad things would just continue to happen because I wasn’t reacting the way I should.”

During the interview, he also says that he is still struggling despite going to rehab. “I think it’s a chronic disease. It’s a progressive disease. I’m still struggling,” he said of his depression and alcoholism. “You stop and you start up again, and it’s worse than when you stopped. You’re just like, ‘Wow, I thought I had this under control,’ but at the end of the day, it has full control over you.”

Chris Pratt Posts a Response to Ellen Page’s Outspoken Criticism of his Church

Chris Pratt has been very outspoken lately about the love of his church and his religion. During a recent appearance on The Colbert Show, Pratt discussed his latest diet, called the Daniel Fast which is a bible-based diet that honestly sounded very extreme to us. Pratt talked at great length about the diet and how it is a 21 day fast and prayer session that pretty much just sounds a lot like starvation. He has been talking a lot about how important his religion and his church, Hillsong, has been to him and it caught the attention of another famous actor, Ellen Page.

Ellen Page is very outspoken about the mistreatment of the LGBTQ community. Once it became known that the church he attends is infamous for sending children to gay conversion therapy and for being very anti-LGBTQ, she tweeted asking Pratt to address the church’s stance on LGBTQ individuals. When she was criticized for speaking out, she backed up her original question by saying, “If you are a famous actor and you belong to an organization that hates a certain group of people, don’t be surprised if someone simply wonders why it’s not addressed. Being anti LGBTQ is wrong, there aren’t two sides. The damage it causes it severe. Full stop. Sending love to all. Conversion therapy and anti lgbtq rhetoric is extremely damaging. Children kill themselves. People suffer.”

The mega church to the stars released a statement in 2o15 after an investigation into the church’s support of gay conversion therapy, (which has been proven to be extremely damaging and absolutely does not work) saying that anyone is welcome to their church but that the “do not affirm a gay lifestyle and because of this we do not knowingly have actively gay people in positions of leadership.”

Pratt took his Instagram to address Page’s criticism of the church. He said in a lengthy post, “It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ.’ Nothing could be further from the truth,” he wrote. “I go to a church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone. Despite what the Bible says about divorce, my church community was there for me every stop of the way, never judging, just gracefully accompanying me on my walk. They helped me tremendously offering love and support. It is what I have seen them do for others on countless occasions regardless of sexual orientation, race or gender.” He does go on to state that he is not a spokesperson but his comment sounds like it was generated by the Hillsong PR machine.

Hillsong is hugely popular among the stars. Celebs like Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin attend services. The church tries to appeal to a younger crowd though pop music and concert lighting. It has a reputation for being the “hip” version of church. But for as hip as it is, it has been glossing over their true stance on the LGBTQ community and Pratt’s post sounds more like PR hype than a genuine response.

Woody Allen Files a Lawsuit Against Amazon

Woody Allen Sues Amazon for $68 MillionWoody Allen has just filed a huge lawsuit against the major online retailer, Amazon, specifically the Amazon Studios division. He filed a $68 million lawsuit alleging that the streaming service is in breach of contract. The lawsuit states that Amazon Studios backed out of a four film deal with the director based on “a 25-year old baseless accusation.” His adopted daughter Dylan Farrow has made allegations that he was inappropriate towards her when she was young. He denies the allegations and has never been arrested or convicted of a crime. He believes that Amazon is using those allegations against him in order to back out of a four film deal.

It started when Amazon refused to release his film, “A Rainy Day in New York” he tried to inquire as to why they were refusing to stream the movie. He claims that he was given  only vague answers. The movie starring Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning, Selena Gomez, Jude Law, Diego Luna and Liev Schreiber is about two young people that arrive in New York to spend the weekend together and are met with bad weather and adventure.

In January of 2018, he was told by the team at Amazon that the movie would be released in early 2019. Late in June of 2018, Allen was told that the deal was terminated. Allen signed his first agreement with Amazon in 2016 for his movie “Cafe Society” and due to the success of that film, they signed a multi-movie deal shortly after that.

According to the lawsuit, the termination was due to,”supervening events, including renewed allegations against Mr. Allen, his own controversial comments, and the increasing refusal of top talent to work with or be associated with him in any way, all of which have frustrated the purpose of the Agreement.”

The suit is seeking $68 million in damages . The suit was filed in the Southern District of New York an Amazon has yet to publicly respond.

Halle Berry over the weekend posted a photo on her Instagram showing of her very toned legs and all natural beauty. The gorgeous pic reminded people how stunning Berry still is after all these years. It also gave her fans an personalized  look into her home life. Berry, 52, posted the photo on February 4th with a caption that read, “Rainy Day Mood”. The photo showed Berry relaxing on her bed during a rainy day, showing off her famous legs all while reading a book. her absolutely adorable pooch, Jackson was also featured in the snap. She gave us some serious jealousy vibes with her stunning figure, hair and  glowing skin.

The photo came a few weeks after the trailer for the much anticipated movie, John Wick 3-Parabellum, dropped. The internet exploded with excitement after reviewing the trailer. Her character in the film, Sophia, joins forces with Keanu Reeve’s character to help him fight his way out of New York City in this neo-noir action thriller. She plays a fellow assassin, who kicks ass alongside Reeves to help him escape the bounty on his head. Both actors haven’t aged a day and even in the trailer the chemistry between the two is undeniable. The film is set to open in theaters world wide on May 17th 2019 right before Memorial Day Weekend and fans can’t wait.

The first Joh Wick movie opened with little fanfare but became an instant hit. The movie was met with positive reviews from critics who praised it to be one of Reeve’s best performances and one of the best action films of 2014. There has been a lot of hype around the sequels, with this latest one being the most anticipated yet. The additional of Berry has only heightened fans interest in the movie.

Halle Berry, long time client of Vincent Cirrincione,  got her first break in the movie Boomerang, also starring Eddie Murphy. She continues to be one of the highest paid actresses in this entertainment industry. Berry won the 2002 Oscar for Best Actress for her role in the critically acclaimed romantic Drama Monster’s Ball. She is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world and this Instagram post proves that she  still holds that title.

Sharon Bush Wasn’t Allowed To Attend The George H.W. Bush Funeral

Sharon Bush, with little surprise to anyone, was once again turned a blind eye by ex-husband Neil Bush during the passing of her children’s grandfather. The 41st president of the United States, George H.W. Bush, passed away on November 30th, 2018 at the age of 94. The natural motherly instincts held within Sharon Bush’s heart left her children, Lauren, Pierce, and Ashley, with open arms to grieve in. Sharon had hoped to extend this support to her children and their family members at the funeral of her ex-father in law. She had made clear her hopes of attending the celebration of life for her children’s grandfather, but received only a petty note from not Neil himself, but from his secretary, that there were simply not enough pews in the National Cathedral to squeeze in Sharon Bush according to PageSix. Sharon’s 23-year long marriage with ex-husband Neil Bush left her reasonably wishing to pay respects to her former father-in-law. Saddened by the actions and disregards of Neil Bush, Sharon Bush respectfully accepted her circumstance as her three children children sorrowed at 11am EST, December 5th in Washington D.C.  

The Spotlight shone on Sharon the day after the Washington funeral when The Daily Mail produced an uninformed and inappropriately skewed article pertaining to Sharon Bush’s whereabouts during the D.C. service. The Daily Mail article’s brash attitude and tone toward Sharon promoted their websites traffic by producing misrepresented and distorted work. This article focused on an Instagram post by Sharon Bush. A picture of Sharon and her friends, Anne Heart and Cynthia Germanotta, captioned “Taking a break from watching my daughters speak at the funeral procession. A girlfriends lunch with the fabulous Anne and Cynthia. #godblessfriends”, was posted during the service she had longed to attend.

Surrounding herself with friends while she was not allowed to be by her children as they mourned the death of their grandfather, was twisted by Daily Mail to corrupt the image of Sharon. It wasn’t until an article posted by Page Six that finally the trust came out about Sharon’s whereabouts during the service. The Daily Mail made wild insinuations as they headlined their article “Neil Bush’s ex-wife Sharon spends the day lunching with girlfriends while her daughters and the rest of the family lay George H.W. Bush to rest”, assuming Sharon ignored the funeral and made a day with her girlfriends out of it. The Page Six article clearly debunks this inaccurate claim, telling how Sharon’s inclination to attend was audaciously denied by ex-husband Neil Bush and his inability to let go of past matters.

Neil Bush’s lack of concern toward Sharon Bush’s attendance of George H.W. Bush’s funeral service stems from a long past of foregoing actions. As the departed couple’s children grew up, Sharon took on what seemed to be an almost single-mother type parental role. Neil was frequently traveling and out of the house due to the nature of his work. It was Sharon’s goal as a philanthropist and a mother to raise their children with open minds and open hearts. Lauren, Pierce, and Ashley, alongside their mother Sharon, spent numerous hours of their upbringing helping those who are economically and situationally disadvantaged.

Today, Sharon Bush’s children thrive in the philanthropic world– many thanks to their mother’s influence. Sharon’s eldest daughter, Lauren Bush Lauren, married to Ralph Lauren’s son, co-created FEED Projects in 2003. FEED focuses on helping to combat the hunger crisis around the world from the profits of FEED bags and totes. Middle Bush child, Pierce Bush, is the CEO of Big Brothers and Big Sisters Lone Star. This agency works to provide mentorship programs for youth across the country. The youngest sibling, Ashley Bush, works with women in safe houses to obtain their GEDS, along with being a filmmaker. Sharon’s philanthropic ventures include her work with Protein Matrix, a company providing solutions to remedy environmental pollution in wastewater treatments. Sharon is also a board member of the UN Women for Peace to work toward advancing the education and access to resources for women around the world. One of her most primary philanthropic aims was made through her organization, Teddy Shares. Teddy Shares uses profits from its teddy bear sales to give nutritional supplement aids to malnourished areas of Africa. Sharon has even partnered with daughter Lauren’s organization, FEED, to provide aid to even more areas across the world.            

The divorce between Sharon and Neil was anything but private. Public scandals, Neil’s affair, and accusations amidst the two flooded newsstands and headlines. More often than not, Sharon got the short end of the stick on these scandals as support from the Bush empire was on Neil’s blood side. Despite all of the turmoil that arose during the time of their divorce, Sharon Bush still made an effort to publically honor the life of George H.W. Bush, whom was close in her life for 23 years. Days after the death of the 41st president, Sharon posted to Instagram saying, “This is a very sweet picture of my Ashley reading to her grandfather a few months ago. May he Rest In Peace.” Additionally, she posted to Instagram the day of the former presidents funeral service in Washington D.C. stating, “My girls Lauren and Ashley reading scriptures at their grandfathers funeral. So proud of them. May he RIP #proudmama.”               

Even 15 years after Sharon Bush and Neil Bush’s divorce, the discord between the two still stands, as shown by Neil’s indecency during his father’s funeral. He took the day intended to celebrate the long successful life of his father, the grandfather of his children, and used it to once more step on the toes of Sharon Bush.
