16 and Pregnant Star, Autumn Crittendon Passes Away at 27

Autumn Crittendon, known for her appearance on the reality TV show “16 and Pregnant,” tragically passed away at the young age of 27, leaving fans and celebrities mourning her sudden death.

According to TMZ, the mother of three tragically passed away on Saturday at her residence in Henrico County, Virginia, where she lived with her three children, mother, and stepfather. She was discovered unresponsive in her bedroom by her stepfather, and despite the efforts of paramedics performing CPR, they were unable to revive her.

The MTV star’s sister broke the news to fans on Facebook. Her sister — penning a heartfelt message to her late sibling which has since been deleted. However, a source with direct knowledge divulged more information about the reality star’s death to TMZ.

Her sister wrote, ‘To my dearest baby sister, my twin, my rock, my babies mother, my go to, my world, the only one who got me and most of my childhood trauma, who endured it all with me, my Arnold.

‘You were robbed of your life at such a tender age. 

‘You left before anyone could tell you goodbye… how much we love you.. how amazing you are and how proud we are of you for staying sober through some of the toughest parts of your life, how far you’ve came from where you were, how thankful we are to have had all these years with you, how proud of you we are as a mother, how grateful we are for the 3 tiny parts of your heart that are still walking this earth.’

‘Pulling up seeing all the vehicles, an empty ambulance.. and jumping out of the truck as soon as I could begging the paramedics and cops to tell me you were okay and they were just working to keep you alive in there.. But my worst fear was confirmed and I collapsed in the road.’

‘I went down the hall to check the rooms to make sure you weren’t hiding back there, but they laid empty.. quiet.. I went where you were last and just stood there in disbelief.. how was my baby sister gone? I was just talking to her. No way this is real life. It’s not real. Begging God to give you back to us.. I seen the shirt you were wearing and I held it so tight, I smelled it for so long as I just stood there empty, broken, finally allowing myself a moment to fall apart while I knew the kids were okay and I was alone. I’ll hold that shirt close to my heart forever.’

‘We are gonna make sure these babies are okay. Your memory will not fade over time. It will live on every moment of every day.’

‘I love you more than words can even come close. Rest Easy my beautiful angel, but seriously, don’t rest, come back. Wake me up.. I miss you so f***ing much dude. I wasn’t ready to lose you, none of us were. So come back. You’re not allowed to rest. Your big sister says so, so you gotta do it. Now I’m waiting, Arnold. Come on.’

Autumn was residing with her children, mother, and stepfather at the time of her passing. According to TMZ’s sources, Autumn’s mother and stepfather discovered her unresponsive in her bedroom after being alerted by a concerned friend. Paramedics were immediately called to the scene and attempted to administer CPR, but unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful.

The family is still grappling with the shock of Autumn’s sudden passing and is uncertain about the exact cause. Autumn had been feeling unwell recently, complaining of heartburn and expressing a desire to seek medical attention. The exact circumstances surrounding her passing remain unclear at this time.

According to TMZ, “Our sources say she was also diabetic and was having kidney issues as well … not to mention problems with her blood pressure. Bottom line … it’s unclear what caused her sudden passing. The family is working with law enforcement on the death investigation.”

The Henrico County Police Department is currently categorizing the incident as an ongoing investigation and is collaborating with the medical examiner to ascertain the precise cause and manner of the incident.

Autumn gained recognition for her appearance on season 5 of the reality show “16 & Pregnant,” where her journey of giving birth to her eldest son, Drake, was documented. She welcomed Drake with her then-boyfriend, Dustin Franklin. In total, Autumn is a mother of three children.

An official cause of death has yet to be released.  The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner told Fox News “An autopsy was completed today, and toxicology results are pending.” 

There was no timetable given as to when those results will be released but it typically takes about 6 weeks for toxicology reports. 

The Information we do Know About the Day of his Death

The first responders found Perry’s body in his hot tub. It was reported that it was not waterlogged which indicatd that he was not in the hot tub long before he was discovered.  There was no one else at the house at the time he passed. His assistant was sent on an errand and upon returning, they found Perry unresponsive and called 911.  At the scene, there are no hard drugs found but they did find prescription pills for anxiety and depression. 

A source told TMZ that law enforcement also found a COPD drug in the house. COPD is short for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. The drug found is often used for people who have emphysema or chronic bronchitis.

Earlier that day, Perry had played pickleball for two hours at the Riviera Country Club. When he came home, he went into his hot tub and that is where he was found by his assistant. 

His death is being investigated by LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division. Foul play is NOT suspected at this point, but cops say it is standard procedure for high-profile cases like Perry’s.

Luke Perry, 90210 and Riverdale Actor, Dead at 52 from a Stroke

I don’t think I had a bigger crush in the 90’s than Luke Perry. I think I had about 5 posters of just him hanging in my bedroom. I was so saddened to hear that he passed this week. I only started watching Riverdale because he played Archie Andrew’s father, Fred. I was never a fan of the Archie comics and was not particularly interested in the story, however because Luke Perry was in it, I watched it. I think most women who lived during the 90’s feel the same way about Luke Perry.

His beloved character on 90201, Dylan McKay, was a bad boy loner who was also very emotionally vulnerable and women everywhere loved him. He played the character with such convincing likeness that fans still jokingly refer to him as “Dylan” even as his career moved on. Even though his good looks and acting credentials secured him as a Hollywood heartthrob, Perry was also known for his charitable acts and random acts of kindness. There was an outpouring of stories from people that have stepped forward to share stories about the late actor’s good deeds.

Perry passed away Monday morning from a stroke at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank. He was surrounded by loved ones when he died. He was rushed to the hospital last week after a call came from his house reporting that he had suffered from a stroke. He was responsive when medics first arrived but his conditioned started to deteriorate rapidly.

There has been a huge outpouring of sadness from writers and actors that have worked with Perry. People who loved and worked with him have taken to their social media accounts to express their profound sadness over his passing. His co-star, Lili Reinhart, from Riverdale tweeted:

Also, his co-stars from his 90201 days are sharing their grief about the loss of their friend and previous co-star.

Even writers from his previous shows are showing their sadness and support for the actor and his family. Aaron Harberts and Gretchen Berg, who penned the amazing episode that saw his return to 90201, spoke of the profound loss of such an amazing actor.

Perry, outside his roles on 90210 and Riverdale, also had prominent roles on shows like Another World, Oz, Jeremiah,Windfall, John from Cincinnati, and Body of Proof. He also appeared in much loved movies like Buff the Vampire Slayer, 8 seconds, and just finished filming for Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Details were released about the cause of her death and different complications she had leading up to it. Mary Tyler Moore was born on December 29, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York. She became one of the television’s most beloved wives, playing Laura Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show, and won two Emmys for her work on the series. The Mary Tyler Moore Show — featuring a single, 30-something woman in the working world — started in 1970 and won her three more Emmys. Her roles on these classic TV sitcoms have made her one of the most popular actresses in television history. The legendary actress died on January 25, 2017, at the age of 80.

Moore had been in the hospital for about a week before her passing, hooked up to a ventilator for several days before succumbing to what was an incident of cardiopulmonary arrest. According to this death certificate, Moore was suffering from severe health issues due to aspiration pneumonia, hypoxia and diabetes mellitus. After having trouble getting oxygen into her tissues, the actress went into cardiac arrest.

 

On Sunday, Moore was laid to rest at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Fairfield, Connecticut, according to the Connecticut Post. She had an intimate funeral with a small group of close friends and family.

Moore was a mover and a shaker of her time. She was one of the first to talk openly about life as a single, working woman.References made by Moore’s character to birth control at the time, for instance, took viewers by total surprise. Later in life, however, Moore was forced to back away from the spotlight a bit due to her health problems. In May of 2011, the actress underwent elective surgery to remove a benign tumor of the lining tissue of the brain. By 2014, friends say she was battling problems with her eyesight, kidneys, and heart.
