Bachelor in Paradise Shut Down Investigation Continues as the Show Remains in Limbo

Alleged Sexual misconduct shuts down season four of Bachelor in Paradise The Bachelor in Paradise show is in a whole heap of trouble. As the investigation into the alleged sexual misconduct continues, a variety of stories have come out and it is hard to determine who is actually telling the truth. Both Corinne’s camp and DeMario’s camp tell a slightly different story but both sides seem to agree that the production staff is partially responsible for the incident.

Bachelor and Bachelorette fans were excited when the latest cast of Bachelor in Paradise was announced. It was a good mix of fan favorites and villains that would be sure to bring the drama. The show started shooting and then it was abruptly canceled. It soon came out that the show was cancelled due to alleged sexual misconduct on set. Rumors started swirling about who was involved and what happened. Soon after, two likely candidates were named and it was DeMario Jackson from the current season of the Bachelorette and Corinne Olympios from the last season of the Bachelor.

Both individuals were considered  the villains of their season so it was no surprise that they ended up on the Bachelor in Paradise. According to reports, there was trouble from day one. DeMario and Corinne were told by producers that one of the story lines of the show would be the two of them hooking up. The two then met over at the bar and started to drink heavily. They then made their way over to a pool and started to engage in sexual activity. A producer who watched the incident unfold was so disturbed by what she saw that she filed a complaint with the parent company Warner Brothers and that is when production came to a screeching halt.

And this is where the stories start to vary. According to DeMario, Corinne was the aggressor the whole time during the sexual encounter. He says they took off their clothes, started making out and “rubbing, touching and fingering.” He says she put her genitals in his face and he began licking. He then says that he tried to have sex with her but could not perform due to the amount of alcohol he had ingested. He says that the next everything was fine between the two of them.

However, witnesses to the alleged sexual misconduct noted a different story. Witnesses said that Corinne was way to drunk to consent and appeared to go limp. A crew member said that, “DeMario kept trying to hold [Corinne] up and at the same time he appeared to be having intercourse with her. After he finished – which only lasted a few seconds – he lifted her out of the water and laid her on the cement, where he proceeded to have oral sex with her. She appeared to be unconscious.”

The the crew stepped in and helped Corinne back to her room. It was reported that the crew was deeply disturbed by what they saw and that is when the incident was reported.

Currently, no official statement has been made by either parties but DeMario has stated that he wants the video of the incident to be released to prove his innocence. It is rumored that Corinne has hired an attorney and that she is more made the production staff on the show than she is at DeMario. It was also reported that the two have been talking recently.

A woman that Rodriguez dated all the way back in 2014 is now threatening to release very personal and private messages the two exchange to the public unless he pays her $600,000. TMZ reported that since the fling in 2014, the woman has been asking Rodriguez for money for years but never gotten any. However, since he began dating J.Lo, the woman decided that it was time for Rodriguez to pay up.

He asked the ex-mistress to just leave him alone and she decided to not take no for an answer. She told him that if he doesn’t pay, she will contact multiple media outlets and give them a treasure trove of messages that also make it appear that he was contacting her while dating Lopez. He is standing firm and will not pay her. Currently his legal team is preparing for a battle. They are in the process of going to both local and federal authorities with the extortion claim. TMZ has also reported that Lopez was aware of the situation before it hit the media and she plans on standing by her man.

Opening Statements in the Begin in the First Day of Bill Cosby’s Trial

first day in bill cosby trial Today marked day one of the Bill Cosby trial and opening statements began with a bang. Cosby was at the courthouse bright and earlier. The 79-year-old comedian walked alongside his spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt on the right, and his former TV daughter Keshia Knight Pulliam, 38 and quickly walked into the courthouse trying to avoid to the media. His wife, Camille, did not come with him. She in the past publicly said that her husband is innocent but decided not to support him on the first day of the trial.

Cosby seemed to be at ease walking into court. He walked into the court with a wooden cane but he appeared to be in good health. He was seen chatting and smiling with his legal team. He also laughed and clapped them on their backs before taking his seat at the front of Montgomery County Court, Norristown. Someone from the media then asked him how he felt and he just smiled.

Even though Cosby has declined to testify, Assistant District Attorney Kristen Feden, feels like she already has enough of Cosby’s own words from his deposition in 2005 and from police reports when he was first investigated to prove that he did sexually assault Andrea Constand. She gave the first opening statement in the trial today and she said that, “Trust, betrayal and the inability to consent. That is what this case is about.”

In Mr. Cosby’s lawyer, Brian McMonagle’s opening statement he attacked Constand’s credibility, pointing out that a former district attorney in the same county had decided against bringing charges against Cosby in 2005 the first time he was accused. Mr. McMonagle said there are numerous inconsistencies in her statements to the police about the timing of events, about numerous meetings with him before the incident, and about her continued contact with him afterward, including a trip with her parents to see him perform at a resort outside Toronto. He also brought up the fact that after the alleged incident, Constand called Cosby numerous times. Phone records show that she called him about 53 times after the incident.

This trial is about a decade in the making and saw one of America’s most beloved TV dad fall from grace. Cosby met Constand in November 2002 when he attended a basketball game at Temple. Constand, who had been a high school basketball star in Canada, was the director of operations for the Temple women’s team at the time. Twelve years ago, Constand went to police to report that Cosby sexually assaulted her. Cosby is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault for the night in January 2004 Cosby allegedly drugged her and then sexually assaulted her.

Woods was arrested on 5/29 in the early morning hours on suspicion of driving under the influence and illegally parking his car. Tiger Woods was asleep in his Mercedes-Benz when police came upon Woods in his car on the side of the road. He told the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s officer that he had been coming back from playing golf in Los Angeles.

TMZ obtained the police report and details about the 14 time major champion was observed asleep at the wheel of his 2015 Mercedes with the motor running and the right blinker light flashing. Woods foot was also on the brake. An officer then woke Woods up and he appeared to be very disoriented and his speech was slurred. Woods told the officer that he was coming back from “coming from L.A. California from golfing” but that he was unclear exactly where he was. He then changed his story and admitted that he didn’t know where he was. Woods asked the officer how far he was from his Hobe Sound, Florida, home and he also admitted he was taking several prescription medications, including Vicodin.

Woods preformed all the field sobriety tests and he failed every single one of them. He was unable to complete the one-leg stand or the nose touch. The report says when asked if he understood the Romberg alphabet test, he stated, “yes, recite entire national anthem backwards.”

According to the report, there were four different types of drugs listed under medical conditions. The drugs included Solarex, Vicodin, Torix and Vioxx. It notes Vioxx was not taken this year. It says Tiger has has 4 left knee surgeries and  four Achilles surgeries.

He was then arrested and taken to a testing facility. A second officer’s report stated that Woods was given a breathalyzer test and he did blow a 0.00 and that he complied with the requested urine test.

Late last night, Woods issued an apology to his fans regarding his arrest. Woods stated that alcohol was not involved, and that his condition resulted from “an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications.”

Dani Mathers pleads no contest in invasion of privacy caseFormer Playmate Dani Mathers had been sentenced for body shaming an older gym goer at an LA Fitness last year. She either can serve 45 days in jail or 30 days of community service removing graffiti after body-shaming a 71-year-old woman at an LA Fitness gym last July. On top of that, Mathers was  ordered to pay the woman $60 in restitution in order to replace a backpack seen in the photo in order to help protect the women’s identity.

Mathers went to court on Wednesday to agree to a plea in her criminal invasion of privacy case. When presented with the two options of either serving jail time or community service, she chose the community service.

The victim decided to not be in court on Wednesday for the court hearing. The prosecutors said the victim was humiliated by the cruel act. “Body shaming can devastate its subject,” Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer said. “People are mocked, they’re humiliated and in ways they can never fully get back.”

Mathers’ attorney addressed the media after the hearing saying that his client is happy to put this behind her. He said, “She really apologizes from the bottom of her heart for what happened. She never thought this would come out like this. Never intended to hurt anyone.”

The 2015 Playmate of the Year was highly criticized for body-shaming the woman after secretly taking a photo of her naked in a locker room at an LA Fitness. Mathers then posted the photo to her Snapchat. She captioned the picture, “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either”. Mathers claimed that she only meant to send the Snapchat pic to a friend but instead she accidentally sent it to all of her followers. The media caught wind of her Snapchat snafu and soon Mathers lost jobs and says she got severely bullied online.
