The Duggar Family Attempts to Bring Josh Back into the Spotlight

I guess I should admire their persistence but Josh is just so disgusting that it is hard to swallow him even in the smallest doses. After falling from grace, Josh has not been seen or associated with any of the family on the show or on the social media accounts. However, the official Duggar family social media released a photo of both Josh and his wife Anna congratulating them on their anniversary. The Duggar’s are hoping that the public will conveniently forgot that Josh is an adulterous pedo.

For those of you who might have forgotten, Josh not only had an affair but he also molested his younger sisters. It came to light that Josh, despite working for Family Research Council, had molested five young girls four of which were his own sisters. Duggar and Co. worked hard to make sure that this info was never leaked but non family member that he molested spoke up about the abuse. The Ashley Madison hack showed that Josh had a paid account which he confirmed and then apologized for but this revelation caused TLC to drop 1000 Kids and Counting, or however many kids it is, but they tried to keep the Duggar family alive by creating a show called Counting On that featured some of the sisters.

The show (a total snoozefest, I tried watching a few episodes but it’s unbelievably boring) has focused on distancing themselves from the scandal. The first few episodes sort of addressed the issues that Josh caused the family but after that it was all about these girls getting married after a 4 day courtship and getting pregnant ASAP.

However, the Duggars are slowly but surely trying to bring Josh back into the spotlight. This picture is just the start. Even though he went on an apology tour and went to rehab, the hypocrisy was just to hard to forget. It has been stated that he will never appear on the family show ever again but we have a feeling we have not seen the last of Josh Duggar.

Another Married at First Sight Divorce Disaster?

mafs_s4_nicksoniaShockingly enough, (sarcasm, sarcasm, sarcasm) another Married at First Sight couple’s relationship has hit the skids. Soon after the Derek/Heather fiasco, another couple seems to have found themselves heading towards divorce. Pastor Calvin has got his work cut out for him.

This time Nick Pendergrast, 32, claims he and his wife Sonia Granados, 33, never consummated their marriage, and he is ready to walk away from it. Sonia, however, denies that and says that they consummated their marriage more than once. The issue started when Sonia asked Nick to open up to her about his feelings about her. Anyone following the series knows that Nick has always been cold towards Sonia. It was sad to watch her try to drag anything out of him. Finally, Nick blew up at her and told her he wasn’t attracted to her. Viewers everywhere just cringed when he yelled that at her. Upon hearing this, Sonia packed her stuff and walked out.

In comes Pastor Calvin to try and fix this mess but it seems that Nick is not really feeling it at all. Nick claims that they never consummated the marriage and that it isn’t a traditional marriage. Pastor Calvin asks Nick about the fight and how he felt about it.  “The attraction has dwindled from the beginning, and it’s not something that she’s done. I don’t think she’s ugly by any means,’ Nick explains. ‘We’re married, but do I feel like I’m a husband? I want to feel that way with someone.”  Pastor Calvin tries to get Nick to see that this in indeed a marriage but Nick confirms that he thinks he should be able to just leave the marriage without consequences because it isn’t a “real” marriage because it was never consummated. He said, “I get at least one “Get Out of Jail Free” card. How am I supposed to support her emotionally if I don’t even know how to do that yet?”

Well Sonia has a different story. When Pastor Calvin questions her about their marriage, she claims that the couple have been intimate and when the Pastor tells her that Nick said they have only kissed, Sonia said, “We had sex — not just once,’ she reveals. ‘Like we’ve had sex.” So who is right? We have a feeling that Sonia is right and that Nick is trying to find anyway to get out of this marriage.

Poor Sonia. You could tell that she really wanted this marriage to work. You can see it in her sad, desperate face. Nick on the other hand, looks like he would rather put a campfire out with his face than spend another moment married to Sonia. Well, Tom and Lillian it’s up to you now.

Child Star, Jake Austin, First to be Sent Home on Dancing with the Stars

This time with an impressive line up of has-beens, want to be’s, screw ups and people we have never heard of.  We always anticipate seeing the line up before the competition begins and this time the DWTS cast includes standouts like Rick Perry, former governor of Texas, Vanilla Ice, disgraced olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, and our personal favorite Amber Rose among many more. This week’s elimination episode, instead of showing us new dance routines, opted to be one of the longest filler episodes are record. It was a solid two hours of footage of their previous routines and conversations.

After having to wait a whole week for the elimination episode, the first three contestants to be narrowed down for elimination were Amber Rose, Ryan Lochte, and Jake T. Austin.  Although we were hoping that Ryan Lochte would be the first go but unfortunately it was Jake T. Austin. Ryan Lochte lost his appeal on us a long time ago ever since he opened his mouth on reality tv. We are a little disappointed that he was even asked to be on DWTS in the first place seeing as how he is a lying, drunk idiot. We are all for controversy on reality tv, but he isn’t even worth it. Amber Rose, who is always confident, was emotional once she learned that she was in the bottom three. Her Game of Thrones inspired routine with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy only scored a 24 out of 40. But in the end, it was Jake T. Austin that was sent packing. Jake said, ““It was so much fun, I had a blast. Learning from Jenna was the opportunity of a lifetime. This was [an] incredible experience.”

Rick Perry also barely escaped from being in the bottom three. On Tuesday night, Laurie Hernandez and partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy were the first couple to be announced safe from elimination based on the fact that they are the highest-scoring couple of the season so far. We are really hoping to see more performances from the couple based on their talent and pure showmanship. But Amber Rose is still the favorite in our hearts so we are hoping that she makes it all the way to the finals!

 

 

Bachelor in Paradise Star Fighting For Custody of Her Kids

Lets face it, anytime anyone appears on reality TV, rarely do they walk away without all their secrets amanda-stanton-2being exposed. Some people are not prepared to deal with aftermath of having their whole life displayed on tv for all of America to see. Amanda Stanton from the Bachelor franchise is no different.

The fresh-faced mother of two, first appeared on Ben Higgins season of the Bachelor. After introducing her two children to Ben, he decided he was not ready for all the responsibility that came along with a single mother. Amanda was devastated but picked the pieces back up and decided to give love another try on the Bachelor spinoff, Bachelor in Paradise. And she did find love in the form of Josh Murray. Not one of my favorites but hey Amanda seems pretty in love with him so who are we to judge? Anyways, it seemed like a happy ending had by all expect Amanda’s ex- husband Nick Buonfiglio.

Nick has been notorious for running to the media about Amanda since her first appearance on The Bachelor. He spoke with US Weekly about the latest issue he has with Amanda which is about the custody of their two girls. He filed papers earlier this month asking for 50/50 custody of the girls along with a reduction in child support. He also believes that her behavior on the show has caused undue harm to the children. “[Amanda] been scrutinized for how she has acted by hundreds of thousands of fans, and it has put my daughters in tons of media attention, which I believe is causing harm,” It is fascinating that he apparently doesn’t find talking about the girl’s mother to anyone that will pay him detrimental to the children.

Amanda, decided to fire back at Nick for spreading private family information to the public. She wrote on her blog, ““I was trying to lose the 40 pounds I gained during pregnancy, still breastfeeding and throwing a pity party for myself while living in a family friend’s house in Malibu. Meanwhile, their father was dating multiple girls he was meeting on Tinder, became a regular at the local bars and was going on trips to Vegas with his friends every other weekend. I remember thinking it was so unfair that he could just break up our family and then go back to living his life the way he did pre-children while my world completely revolved around them.”

This time we are going to side with Amanda. Nick seems like a jealous little baby who is hell bent on trying to make Amanda look like a bad mom. He seems to take joy in ripping her apart to the media. We don’t blame Amanda for striking back. We hope to see Amanda truly find happiness and we wish her the best on this custody battle.

Divorced Already? Married at First Sight Sees its Quickest Divorce Yet

mafs_s4_heatherderek1The FYI Channel’s “Married and First Sight” has already seen its first casualty of its “Social Experiment”. Heather Sediel and Derek Schwartz called it quits after a very tumultuous honeymoon. The couple had only been married for two weeks before Heather decided that she just couldn’t be married to Derek anymore. This split is the quickest in the show’s history.

Fans following their story on the show, recognized that Heather was not overwhelmed with attraction when she first saw Derek at the alter. She recognized that she would have to get to know him first and hoped the honeymoon would bring them closer together. Derek was gung-ho from the beginning and was excited to be matched with Heather. The disastrous honeymoon however proved that this couple was not a good match. Heather was upset over Derek’s “occasional” smoking every day of their vacation. During the interview process, Heather told the matchmakers that she didn’t want a smoker, but occasionally smoking was ok. When Heather confronted Derek about his smoking on the honeymoon, he thought it would be a good idea to call her an alcoholic. After that it was a downward spiral of awkward, cringe-worthy fights and a whole lot of side eyes from Heather.

They decided to call in the big guns, Pastor Calvin Roberson, to try and help them work it out. Derek was on board but Heather had had enough. “I am really sorry about how things have gone,’ she told him. ‘I don’t think you are a bad person at all, and I am sorry that I can’t move forward with you. I cannot be married to you and I hope that you understand that.” Derek was visibly crushed by this statement. Apparently, he wanted to push through the full six weeks before a decision was made. I don’t know if I could have made it through anymore episodes of this couple and frosty awkwardness.
