Joel Hyatt, Serial Entrepreneur, Brings his Latest Start-up Out of Stealth Mode

Joel_Hyatt A little known fact about our online publication is that not only are we interested in reporting that latest in celebrity news but we also have writers who are highly interested in the latest startups. Being based in California, the capital of new tech companies, most of our writers follow the careers of big names like Sheryl Sandberg, Jeff Bezos and Jack Ma. Many of these individuals influence our daily lives greatly so we are also interested in reporting when a new venture is set to change the landscape. This time it’s Joel Hyatt, whose latest startup has just been brought out of stealth mode and is poised to change how multi-national companies manage their projects and contracts.

Globality, is looking to help match multinational companies with prequalified specialists in countries around the world where they have a limited on-staff presence. This approach to the global economy will change how businesses deal with projects overseas and will also help smaller businesses compete on an international level. These smaller businesses that Globality is looking to connect with larger corporation typically would not have access to these opportunities under normal circumstances. It is just too costly for these smaller companies to compete in the procurement process.

Dennis Nally, a Globality board member and former chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers, summed up the purpose of Globality best when he said, “Traditionally, these smaller companies haven’t had access to the large multinationals because it is too costly to qualify companies operating in all these different markets.”

When Globality launched this week, it approximately represents about 350 consulting services companies in 55 countries specializing in marketing, energy strategy, compliance, environmental issues, and domestic legal issues. It was reported that more firms are being invited and approved for inclusion in the “marketplace” every day. The Globality website also includes software applications for managing contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and for holding video meetings.

Hyatt co-founded Globality with Lior Delgo, a technologist whose sold two previous startups to Microsoft and Yahoo. Delgo is officially Globality’s president. Globality has a board that is comprised of some of the best minds in the industry like Oracle co-CEO Mark Hurd, former IBM CFO John Joyce, and Andersen Tax CEO Mark Vorsatz. Globality also has raised more than $37 million from a group of investors that include former Vice President Gore, one-time Apple retail executive Ron Johnson, and Yahoo CFO Ken Goldman. Globality is backed by some of the best minds in the industry and is sure to be a success.

Meryl Streep Dumps on Trump

Last night the Golden Globe Awards Ceremony took place, and as awards were given and the beautiful humans of Hollywood graced the carpet, Meryl Streep was the one who stole the spotlight in her acceptance speech that dumped on President-Elect Donald Trump. In a nearly 6-minute address, while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award, the actress denounced Trump’s campaign rhetoric and criticized him for mocking a disabled reporter. If you logged on Facebook anytime after 8 pm last night through the morning, there were probably at least 1,000 shares of her video on your news feed.

And as you can imagine, everyone has an opinion on Streep using her Hollywood platform to address a political issue. Trump, in expected fashion, could not let the comments go unaddressed, but had to respond using his most obnoxious and unpresidential form of communication, Twitter. I’m sure most of Ameria wishes Twitter would disable his account.

Trump’s tweet response included:

Hillary flunky who lost big. For the 100th time, I never “mocked” a disabled reporter (would never do that) but simply showed him…….

“groveling” when he totally changed a 16-year-old story that he had written to make me look bad. Just more very dishonest media!

Donald Trump is going to tire himself over the next four years if he responds to every major criticism that is said him again. He seems to enjoy digging himself deeper and deeper into a hole. He’s going to exhaust himself. Get over it man. A favorite quote of mine is “a wise man once said nothing.” Take note Mr. Trump.

We do not think that Meryl Streep is overrated. She might be a nasty woman, in the best way possible.

Nicki Minaj Confirms Split with Meek Mill After Two Years Together

Nicki Minaj tweet Nicki Minaj has decided it was finally time to dump Meek Mill after almost two years together. It was about time. Nicki has stood by Meek through a house arrest and a very publicized beef with Drake which Meek was on the losing end. TMZ was the first to report their suspicion that the couple had called it quits and Nicki herself confirmed this via a tweet she posted to her Twitter account.

TMZ’s reporter Raquel was the first to suggest that the couple had called it quits. She noticed that the couple went to extreme lengths to avoid each other on New Years and it appears that they did not spend Christmas together. Also in December, Nicki posted a somewhat cryptic message on her Instagram with a quote from Beyonce’s break up song titled, “Best Thing I Never Had”. She wrote “Thank God u blew it. Thank God I dodged the bullet. I’m so over u. Baby good lookin out. #BestThingUNeverHad.” After that post, Meek Mill deleted his Instagram.

Nicki finally made an announcement on Twitter confirming the split. She said, “To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work and looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u.”

The couple was first spotted together in 2015 and shortly after, Nicki was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring on her engagement ring finger. She said that they were not planning on getting married at that Meek was just a boy who really liked her. She stood by him when he picked a fight with Drake who was a long time friend of Nicki’s and a friend of Meek’s as well. Meek posted a tweet that claimed that Drake doesn’t write his own tracks and Drake did not take that well. Meek was on the losing end of that battle when Drake released two of the most ultimate diss tracks of all time titled, “Charged up” and “Back to Back”. Nicki stayed relatively silent on the whole fight but ultimately, we think that it was the start to the end of this relationship.

Janet Jackson Gives Birth to Baby Boy at age 50

The world was surprised that she was actually able to get pregnant but by some medical miracle it happened and now she is the proud mama to a little boy named Eissa Al Mana. They have yet to release any photos of the little bundle of joy and we hope that they do because we can’t wait to see what he looks like!

A rep for Jackson’s released a statement to People magazine that says, “Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

Rumors started to swirl last year when the singer postponed her Unbreakable World Tour. Before the second leg she released a video stating the real reason why she had to postpone the tour.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change,” she said in the clip. “I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family,” she continued. “So I’m going to have to delay the tour.”

There was a lot of doubt that the singer could get pregnant at age 50. But to the surprise of her fans, she was spotted out running errands with a noticeable baby bump. She stayed very quiet about her pregnancy and did not release any statements announcing the pregnancy.

Janet Jackson married her husband, Qatari businessman, Wissam Al Mana in 2012. They were also very quiet about their wedding ceremony too. They had an intimate, small wedding and they decided to make contributions to their favorite charities in lieu of gifts. Privacy has always been a very big deal to this couple so it’s no surprise that they were also mum about the pregnancy.

To me, Lauren Conrad is the cool girl in high school that lived the glamorous Laguna Beach life of hot boyfriends, high school parties, trendy fashion, and an overall fabulous life filled with captivating drama. From there she starred in the reality TV Show, “The Hills” where she and her friends navigated young adulthood with all the challenges that come with having a trust fund and life-changing internships. Lauren has now moved past here reality TV days and is a successful fashion designer and here is the big news, a SOON TO BE mother. Lauren posted a picture on Instagram of her holding her sonogram picture.

Lauren and husband William Tell are excited about the new addition to their family! Conrad and Tell got married in 2014.The two started dating in 2013 and were together for about a year before exchanging vows. In a 2015 blog post, the ex-Hills and Laguna Beach actress were asked how many kids she wants to have with her husband. “Maybe two,” she wrote. “That way we aren’t outnumbered.”

Lauren has become established as a real adult and not just a young lady on TV with black mascara and tears running down her face from the latest reality TV drama. She has done quite well for herself. She and her hubby have not been found in any celebrity scandals, but have laid low and that seems to be working well for them. Lauren said this about William, “William hates it when I say this, but he really is a very nice guy, and when you meet a nice guy who also manages to keep your interest, that is the dream,” Lauren previously told Cosmopolitan. “If you’re going to settle down, it should be with someone you can’t stop thinking about.” We hope the best for the little family and that Lauren and William enjoy the adventure that is parenthood.
