Teen Mom Star Amber Portwood Vows to “Never Stop Fighting” for her Children After Losing Custody of her Four-Year-Old Son

The Teen Mom OG star has come out fighting against a court ruling that granted her ex Andrew Glennon sole legal and physical custody of their child James. In a statement provided to US Weekly, Portwood, 32, said, “I’ve worked so hard to better myself and improve my relationships with my children. I’ve always been candid about my past substance abuse and struggles with mental illness, a person should have the chance to redeem themselves and not be tethered to their problems from the past.”

Not only did the judge grant Andrew sole legal and physical custody but he also granted Glennon’s request to move James from Indiana to Glennon’s family home in California. Portwood currently resides in Indiana. The judge, however, did order Glennon to ask and consider the mother’s opinion before making any major decisions regarding medical treatment, education or religion.

The judge also ordered both parents to undergo monthly drug screening for the next six months and Portwood must attend individual counseling with a therapist of her choosing and must follow the suggestions made by that therapist. Despite the strict ruling, Portwood was allowed overnight visits with James. Portwood lost overnight visits in 2019.

The custody battle started in 2019 after Portwood was arrested for domestic battery in July of 2019. She allegedly chased Glennon around with a machete and threatened suicide. Portwood pled guilty to two felony charges of domestic battery and intimidation. She was sentenced to 906 days of probation and 26 weeks of parenting classes.

Portwood and Glennon started dating in 2017. The two met on the set of Marriage Bootcamp, where Portwood was participating with her ex-fiancé Matt Baier. Two weeks after filming ended, Glennon reached out to Portwood and the two were spotted kissing three months after Portwood broke up with Baier.

Portwood’s legal troubles have been widely reported. However, Glennon is also no stranger to the legal system. He has been accused of stalking by two ex-girlfriends who both served him with restraining orders. RadarOnline reported Glennon was once arrested on drug possession charges. He was in possession of heroin and MDMA and was under the influence. He also was later arrested for possession of a deadly weapon. In 2014 he was arrested for drunk driving.

During Portwood and Glennon’s custody hearing, Glennon admitted to draining the couple’s joint bank account for $38,000 and transferring it to his personal account while Portwood was in jail. Also around the same time, Glennon created a GoFundMe to cover the legal costs of the custody battle and told fans if they donated money, they could meet James.

In response to the legal loss, Portwood said she loves her children more than anything and will never stop fighting for them.

Tristan Thompson Rumored to be Dating Again after Surrogacy Announcement

To the absolute surprise of no one, Tristan Thompson is rumored to be dating someone new despite expecting another child with Khloe Kardashian. Last week, Thompson was spotted in Mykonos, Greece holding hands with a mystery woman. Since then, rumors have been flying over who this new girl in Thompson’s life is and we want to know why she would ever bother with a man who has earned the nickname of “Trashcan” on social media.

TMZ posted a video on July 18th that showed Thompson walking through the streets of Mykonos holding hands with an unknown woman. This video was posted days after Kardashian and Thompson announced they were expecting a second child via a surrogate. There were rumors on Reddit that the woman was actually Kayne’s ex, Chaney Jones but Jones has denied she is the mystery brunette.

The surrogacy announcement shocked Kardashian fans based on Thompson’s long history of cheating on Khloe. Kardashian’s rep said the following, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”

The timeline of the birth announcement along with a potential due date seemed to indicate that Kardashian and Thompson decided to have another baby before their most recent split. Sources close to both Kardashian and Thompson have stated the couple is currently not together and aren’t planning on getting back together despite the imminent arrival of their baby boy.

Fans also notice Kardashian liked a post from the fan account @kardashiansocial that included the caption, “To everyone that’s freaking out about this video of Tristan in Greece with another girl, Khloé and Tristan are both single.” This indicated to fans that Kardashian isn’t concerned about Thompson’s dating life.

There is some speculation that the baby boy was born sometime within the last few days. A source told TMZ that the baby was already born but other sources are claiming it should be any day now. Neither Kardashian or Thompson have commented publicly yet about the new baby, Thompson’s new woman, or the status of their relationship.

Popular Jersey Shore star, Ronnie has been in the news a lot lately and not for anything good. Known originally for his outrageous dance movies and his on and off again relationship with co-star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola. His current relationship with his on and off again baby momma Jen Harley has been so explosive that police got involved. Their contentious relationship has also spilled over into the social media with each one of them accusing the other of awful behavior. Now, Ronnie has come clean about suffering from depression and the reason why he decided to head to rehab.

Fans watched as the couple imploded during season 2 in a very dramatic fashion. During an episode last September, there was a huge fight between Ronnie and Jen over the loss of her dog. Jen claimed that MTV edited most of what lead up to the fight and focused on the dramatic ending that saw police getting involved. The major fight had to do with Jen’s missing dog Kimber. Jen was desperately looking for her dog and Ron would not answer any of her calls. She later found out that Ron found her dog dead at the bottom of the pool at her house. She claims that she had heard multiple stories about what happened to her beloved dog and felt like she was being lied to about the situation. She confronted Ron and the situation blew up. The police were called and the two hurled accusations at each other. Now Ron is revealing that after everything that happened during Season 2, he decided to head to rehab.

Ron is now revealing that season 2 left him feeling angry and resentful. He was very depressed and drinking constantly. He went to rehab in January at the HeadWaters Origins Treatment Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. He decided to go also because he wants to be a better father to his daughter with Jen, Ariana Sky. When interviewed about his decision he said, “I was just making the wrong decisions, and I was very depressed,” Ronnie explained. “And when I was depressed, I would turn to drinking. And then when I would drink, bad things would just continue to happen because I wasn’t reacting the way I should.”

During the interview, he also says that he is still struggling despite going to rehab. “I think it’s a chronic disease. It’s a progressive disease. I’m still struggling,” he said of his depression and alcoholism. “You stop and you start up again, and it’s worse than when you stopped. You’re just like, ‘Wow, I thought I had this under control,’ but at the end of the day, it has full control over you.”

Chris Pratt Posts a Response to Ellen Page’s Outspoken Criticism of his Church

Chris Pratt has been very outspoken lately about the love of his church and his religion. During a recent appearance on The Colbert Show, Pratt discussed his latest diet, called the Daniel Fast which is a bible-based diet that honestly sounded very extreme to us. Pratt talked at great length about the diet and how it is a 21 day fast and prayer session that pretty much just sounds a lot like starvation. He has been talking a lot about how important his religion and his church, Hillsong, has been to him and it caught the attention of another famous actor, Ellen Page.

Ellen Page is very outspoken about the mistreatment of the LGBTQ community. Once it became known that the church he attends is infamous for sending children to gay conversion therapy and for being very anti-LGBTQ, she tweeted asking Pratt to address the church’s stance on LGBTQ individuals. When she was criticized for speaking out, she backed up her original question by saying, “If you are a famous actor and you belong to an organization that hates a certain group of people, don’t be surprised if someone simply wonders why it’s not addressed. Being anti LGBTQ is wrong, there aren’t two sides. The damage it causes it severe. Full stop. Sending love to all. Conversion therapy and anti lgbtq rhetoric is extremely damaging. Children kill themselves. People suffer.”

The mega church to the stars released a statement in 2o15 after an investigation into the church’s support of gay conversion therapy, (which has been proven to be extremely damaging and absolutely does not work) saying that anyone is welcome to their church but that the “do not affirm a gay lifestyle and because of this we do not knowingly have actively gay people in positions of leadership.”

Pratt took his Instagram to address Page’s criticism of the church. He said in a lengthy post, “It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ.’ Nothing could be further from the truth,” he wrote. “I go to a church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone. Despite what the Bible says about divorce, my church community was there for me every stop of the way, never judging, just gracefully accompanying me on my walk. They helped me tremendously offering love and support. It is what I have seen them do for others on countless occasions regardless of sexual orientation, race or gender.” He does go on to state that he is not a spokesperson but his comment sounds like it was generated by the Hillsong PR machine.

Hillsong is hugely popular among the stars. Celebs like Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin attend services. The church tries to appeal to a younger crowd though pop music and concert lighting. It has a reputation for being the “hip” version of church. But for as hip as it is, it has been glossing over their true stance on the LGBTQ community and Pratt’s post sounds more like PR hype than a genuine response.

Woody Allen Files a Lawsuit Against Amazon

Woody Allen Sues Amazon for $68 MillionWoody Allen has just filed a huge lawsuit against the major online retailer, Amazon, specifically the Amazon Studios division. He filed a $68 million lawsuit alleging that the streaming service is in breach of contract. The lawsuit states that Amazon Studios backed out of a four film deal with the director based on “a 25-year old baseless accusation.” His adopted daughter Dylan Farrow has made allegations that he was inappropriate towards her when she was young. He denies the allegations and has never been arrested or convicted of a crime. He believes that Amazon is using those allegations against him in order to back out of a four film deal.

It started when Amazon refused to release his film, “A Rainy Day in New York” he tried to inquire as to why they were refusing to stream the movie. He claims that he was given  only vague answers. The movie starring Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning, Selena Gomez, Jude Law, Diego Luna and Liev Schreiber is about two young people that arrive in New York to spend the weekend together and are met with bad weather and adventure.

In January of 2018, he was told by the team at Amazon that the movie would be released in early 2019. Late in June of 2018, Allen was told that the deal was terminated. Allen signed his first agreement with Amazon in 2016 for his movie “Cafe Society” and due to the success of that film, they signed a multi-movie deal shortly after that.

According to the lawsuit, the termination was due to,”supervening events, including renewed allegations against Mr. Allen, his own controversial comments, and the increasing refusal of top talent to work with or be associated with him in any way, all of which have frustrated the purpose of the Agreement.”

The suit is seeking $68 million in damages . The suit was filed in the Southern District of New York an Amazon has yet to publicly respond.
